I have had this door for the last 5 years.  I often thought about turning it into a table but the raised panels and ornamental iron just didn't allow that to happen.
Then the need for a barn door arose at the Salt Yoga studio in Utica Square, Tulsa.
The first step was to find some rusty 2" c channel to wrap around the outside of the door.  That helped to reinforce it and give me someplace to attach the ears for hanging.
Next was measuring the guide rollers and laying it out with the extruded aluminum C channel.

The patina wasn't quite right with this handle.  So let the rustication tricks begin.

I needed to cover the existing holes in the door where the original handle was installed.  Rail spike heads seemed to fit the bill perfectly.
