I was commissioned to build a dining table that would be unique. Here's what I came up with. It's based from a late 1890's adjustable work table.
This will move from 30" standard dining height, to 42" bar top height.
The transmission and gears. With a 4:1 ratio the 60# table raises with little to no effort.
It wouldn't be legitimate if it didn't have a little patina. This is one of the custom finishes we offer.
We can even put this on a pair of boots if you so desire.
The chain is lubed with a dry bicycle chain lubricant. This will help with dust and dirt sticking.
